Tacstix sells mainly to law enforcement, military, and government agencies, approved dealers, and qualified buyers.
1. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of personally identifiable information:

- Eligibility information: information you give us to confirm you are eligible to buy, such as agency affiliation, badge, ID, or employment details, or a purchase order.
- Order information: billing address, shipping address, products ordered, quotes, purchase orders, and order history.
- Payment information: payment card or account details are collected and processed by our payment processors. We do not store full payment card numbers.

- Device and usage information: collected automatically when you use the Site, such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site, and the date and time of your visit. This is collected through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies used by Shopify and the analytics and marketing tools we use, which are currently Shopify Analytics, Klaviyo, and the Pinterest tag.
2. How we use information
We use personal information to verify eligibility; process, ship, and support orders and quotes; handle returns and warranty claims; respond to questions and fit checks; prevent fraud and secure the Site; keep business, tax, and accounting records; comply with law, including export control law; and understand and improve the Site. We may send you product updates by email or text if you sign up or have bought from us; you can unsubscribe at any time.
3. How we share information
We share personal information with the following categories of recipients:
- Shopify, which hosts our store and processes order, payment, and Site data on our behalf. Shopify's privacy policy is at https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy.
- Payment processors, including the providers behind Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay at our checkout, to process payments.

We do not publicize our customers, orders, or agency relationships without written permission.
Advertising partners and your opt-out rights. We share limited browsing data, such as pages viewed, products added to cart, and device identifiers, with our advertising and marketing partners, currently Pinterest and Klaviyo, so they can help us show and measure ads. Under California law, this may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. You can opt out at any time by emailing sales@tacstix.com. We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals: if your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of this sharing for that browser.
4. Third-party tracking across sites
Third parties, including Shopify and Klaviyo and Pinterest, may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use our Site. You can limit this by adjusting your browser's cookie settings or using browser privacy tools.
5. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting. There is no common industry standard for responding to DNT signals, and our Site does not respond to them. We do honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals, as described in Section 3.
6. How long we keep information
We keep order and transaction records for as long as needed to fulfill orders, provide warranty service, and meet tax and legal obligations, generally up to seven (7) years. We keep marketing data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Device and usage data is kept according to Shopify's and our analytics providers' retention settings. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.
7. Reviewing and requesting changes to your information
You can review and update your account information by signing in to your account on the Site. You can also ask us to review, correct, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing sales@tacstix.com with your name, the email address or phone number you used with us, and your request. We will respond within 45 days. We may need to keep some information to complete orders, honor warranties, or meet legal obligations.
8. Security
We use reasonable safeguards, and we rely on Shopify's security for store and payment data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
9. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Your California Privacy Rights
California residents may request information about the personal information we collect, ask us to correct or delete it, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising. We share limited browsing and purchase data with advertising and marketing partners, such as Pinterest and Klaviyo, which may be considered a sale or sharing under California law. To opt out or make a request, email sales@tacstix.com with the subject Privacy Request. We honor Global Privacy Control signals as an opt out. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights, and we will respond within 45 days. Under California Civil Code 1798.83 you may also ask what personal information we disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes in the prior calendar year.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. We will post the updated Policy on this page with a new effective date. If we make a material change, we will also post a notice on the Site before the change takes effect.
